If you are in the mood for some blood and gore this Halloween, then you’ll want to see the famous slasher flick of all, Friday the-th on the big screen. That date is significant because Jason Voorhees witnessed his mother’s beheading by a camp counselor at Camp Crystal Lake in the year’80.

He preys like a serial predator on a group of innocent friends who have come to enjoy a weekend at the beautiful and legendary Camp Crystal Lake. His bloody murderous rampage leaves you hiding under the covers as each unfortunate victim feels his razor sharp machete.

The movie becomes dark and eerie as Jason begins his bloody rampage on a group of longtime friends who just want to do a little partying at the legendary Camp Crystal Lake. Like a serial predator, he preys on his innocent victims.

The casting was a bit of a challenge to Director Michael Bay and Producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. They had only five young actors to work with in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but thirteen was certainly an unlucky number in this slasher flick.

Thirteen young actors were cast and recast until Fuller and Form could find thirteen that could work well together. It was a difficult task and so much so that these actors were not established until the very start of the movie.

Derek Mears does a great job playing the role of adult Jason, as does Caleb Guss who plays the young Jason Voorhees. Also applauds goes out to Jared Padalecki for the leading male role, and Amanda Righetti for the leading female role.

The rest of the team did a great job as well and that includes Nana Visitor, Julianna Guill, Jonathan Sadowski, Van Winkle, Danielle Panabaker, America Olivo, Aaron Yoo, and Richard Burgi who plays a great sheriff.

If you’re a fan of the Fridays, your thirst for blood and guts will be satisfied with this yet another film of Jason Voorhees, that has been a favorite character of horror flicks for many years. Perhaps your favorite Halloween costume as well. Watch it on the big screen for the great effects.
