Loneliness, loneliness, loneliness. It\’s a plague in this world of ours. With billions of people on this planet it\’s amazing how many people are lonely. Even for those people who live with others, loneliness is still a major concern. We find that women are often looking for information regarding:

Did you know that a man is a different type of \”animal\”? Many a woman has spent a sleepless night tossing and turning trying to not only figure them out, but to determine the best way to show that they love that special guy who shares their life. Are presents for men the only way to show that guy that you care? No. In this article we will be exploring the various ways in which you can show that special guy that you deeply care about, and even love him.

Food and Such…

\”The Way To A Man\’s Heart Is Through His Stomach\”. We\’ve all heard this saying before right? Now we won\’t go so far as to say that the only way to get a man to love you is to go through his stomach, it is true that most guys love good food, and all the work and thought that has gone into making it.

1) To get the ball rolling we will start with the first meal of the day, which is breakfast. How about making some heart-shaped pancakes? If he\’s not into pancakes you could do the same thing with toast. You could go one step further and even trim the butter that will accompany the meal into a heart shape. Heart-shaped butter on heart-shaped pancakes or toast. Yum.

2) Lunch comes next. Many men \”brown bag\” it to work, and this provides you with a great opportunity to show that you love him. Here\’s an extra surprise: cook or make his favorite snack and add it with his \”usual ole\’ sandwich\” for that special note saying: \”I love you\”.

3) The evening dinner is the main meal of the day for most people. It\’s a time when you can sit back and relax the most during the day. How about a candlelight dinner with some scented candles? Why not play his favorite soothing and romantic music in the background. Be sure that you make his favorite meal to compliment the evening.

4) Many people eat snacks throughout the day. So many in fact that they are not very memorable. How about a romantic snack? Is there a special treat that you enjoyed when you were first dating? Perhaps an ice cream soda at the local drugstore? Nobody says that you can\’t go back and do it all over again. Bring on all those romantic snacks…they mean so much…

Affection

We all need to know that people care about us, and men are included in this group. Sure, they may be the \”strong, silent type\”, but they can still get a teary eye when they watch a sad or romantic movie. To show that special guy that you love him, here are a few ways:

1) You know, a hug says so much. When he least expects it, why not come up from behind and put your arms around him and give him a nice hug. You can whisper \”I love you\” in his ear. Don\’t overdo this mind you…just once in a while so that it will be something really unique and special.

2) Listen to that guy in your life. One of the most basic needs of all human beings is the need to be heard. When he comes home after a tough day at the office he might want to rave and complain a bit. Just sit back an listen to what he has to say, and instead of changing the subject, offer \”I\’m here\” responses such as \”Hmmm\”, \”I see\”, or \”Oh my\”.

3) On the other side of the coin, there are some guys don\’t like to talk at all when they arrive home from work. Remember, they\’ve been battling the traffic, the clients, the boss, and \”who knows\” during the day, and they need time to unwind. They will probably talk your ear off once they do relax a bit, but be sure not to pepper them with questions as soon as they get home, or give him the latest version of that \”Honey Do List\”. Just let him unwind a bit…

4) Some guys out there like a good massage, and if you are gifted in this way, this a great way to show that you care about him. The human touch is a very powerful thing. Remember to be gentle though…there is no need to bring him to tears. You can give him a back rub, or how about just running your fingers lightly through his hair? This is a great for you to both prepare for the evening meal, or other things…

Activities With Romance

Many men are adventurous and energetic and love to try out new things. They love to test their manliness. Here are a few activities that will show that you love that special guy:

1) Pure and simple, get out of that special \”box\” you have built around yourself and do something that you would not normally do. Do you hate football? Instead of complaining about the sport, why not join your man on the couch and try, I mean really try, to understand it. Instead of getting that \”ugh\” look on your face, why not ask them sincere questions. What\’s a first down? What is a quarterback? You know the type of questions we are talking about. He will be taken by surprise at first, but since he loves the game, he will love to explain the finer points to you. If he\’s not into football you can do a bit of research before hand to determine what questions to ask. He will remember it…trust me…

2) Does that special guy in your life have chores that he needs to do around the house? Surprise him, and do it for him. Let\’s take an example. Suppose he needs to take out the trash every week. You could do it for him and tell him that since he is working so hard you decided to help him out. Make sure that he realizes you are helping him out. He might think that you enjoy doing it so much that you have bought yourself yet one more thing to do around the house…

3) Pillow fight anyone? Most of us have left pillow fights behind with our childhood…back when we used to jump up and down on the bed. Who says we need to leave all the fun behind when we grow up? Here\’s a thought. One night, when you are getting ready for bed, hall off and \”wallop\” him! He\’ll be taken by surprise, for sure…but he might get a kick out of it. Be prepared for him to hall off and \”wallop\” you back. Let the action begin!

Compliments Are Great

We all love to get compliments. We like to hear that others like our clothes, our jewelry, our hair, our \”whatever\”. Do you know how to compliment a guy? Here are a few ways:

1) Say nice complimentary things about your guy when you are out with others. Tell others how special he is, or how hard he works, or how much he cares. Word will eventually get back to that man of yours, and he will be thrilled that all the good aspects of his character have not gone unnoticed.

2) Is that special guy of yours into clothes? Does he fancy himself a great dresser? If so, he will appreciate the fact that others notice his great sense of style. Take special note of any new clothes that he is wearing, and be sure that he knows you notice.

3) Is there something that your guy does for you that you really appreciate? Perhaps your guy does the dishes from time to time? Maybe he takes the baby out for a regular walk when you need time to unwind? Let him know how much you appreciate these little (and not so little) things that he does for you.

4) You could always leave some little romantic notes in places that he will find them. Why not put one on the bathroom mirror for example? He will see it when he gets up in the morning. Why not put one on the steering wheel of his car? He will see it when he drives to work in the morning.
