If you\’ve been keeping up with winter television, there\’s a good chance you heard about Jersey Shore by now. Maybe you\’ve even seen some episodes.

If you\’re in the minority of people who still don\’t know what this series is all about, here\’s a quick rundown. A group of people in their 20s from New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island are picked out at random by MTV to share a beach house over the summer.

The wild town of Seaside Heights in New Jersey is home to plenty of action. The characters on this show make it all the more interesting.

Each housemate is unique in his or her own right, and most of them seem to have a flair for the dramatic. Every episode results in some kind of jaw dropping moment where you can\’t believe what you just saw.

Here are a few of the highlights of season one so far. Let\’s see if your favorite moment made the list.

First, there\’s the relationship between Sammy and Ronnie. Things started on a very interesting note, as Sammy and Mike \”The Situation\” had a little fling before Sammy flocked to Ronnie on the same night. Needless to say, this sparked a lot of drama between the two.

More recently, Vinny, another housemate, experienced some romantic drama himself. Having met a girl and kissed her, he soon realized he was kissing the date of the man they\’re all renting the house from. This prompted obvious fears that he\’d be removed from the house.

Lastly, there\’s a more serious incident that took place, and this involved a fight at a bar in which Nicole (also known as \”Snookie\”) was punched in the face. Thankfully, she was fine, as revealed in the next episode, but this was a shocking and scary moment during the course of the series.

The coming episodes of this show should be just as interesting, and many anxiously await them.
