The Live Hilarious Blue Collar Comedy Genius Experience
Mix together four friends, one road, and a whole heap of alcohol and the end product would be the Blue Collar Comedy Tour thrill ride. Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and Ron White all join forces along with Jeff Forxworthy to take the nation on a trip unlike any other. To get a better grasp on what the blue collar boys are, one would have to go see the show, however the best small description would be four southern guys just being guys.
The family man of the foursome traveling troupe is none other than William Ray “Bill” Engvall. Dearly beloveds and close friends are not safe when it comes to Bill, as he will tell the world about their dirty laundry till the audience laughs right out of their seats. His signature jokes are the “Here’s your sign” where he points out all the hilarious ignorant questions he has ever heard.
Daniel Lawrence Whitney, or Larry the Cable Guy as he is known on the stage, is the youngest out of the four. As a southern grown boy his routine about redneck situations and circumstances are enhanced with his catchphrase “Git-R-Done”. After his tour with the blue collar boys, Larry went on to become quite the actor, staring in many of his own movies and voice acting for a few movies directed at children.
Ron White is the his cigar smoking, alcohol consuming standup comedian who’s jokes generally focus on how his career is more or less just the transition from one drinking hole to the next. He brings to the table the middle classman in the high class world as he recalls his time with his haughty family-in-laws. Ron did not go on to star in the Blue Collar Television Show, thereby setting himself apart from the rest of the group, but he did however guest star in the show several times.
Jeffery Marvin Foxworthy is the leader of this particular pack of sensational stage performers. His jokes have the most redneck influence and as such his signature jokes are in his “you might be a redneck” routine. This comedian has been very successful in the televised entertainment industry to the point of being the host of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?”.
Bill, Larry, Ron and Jeff all made many appearances on televised shows, many of which were their very own shows based on their lives. Their individual persona and mannerisms lead them all to be great financial successes in the theater entertainment industry. These four are quite the entrepreneurs, they have not only been great comedians, and motion film actors, but they have also moved into the literary scene with their biographical novels.
The Next Generation, as they are known, are the future of the blue collar boys, led this time by Bill Engvall. Reno Collier, Juston McKinney, Jamie Kaler and John Caparulo are the next in line for fame and fortune as they are hoping to fill the shoes of their predecessors. These four all have their own tales to tell and will be a breath of fresh air to the fans of the original troupe.
Four friends traveling the country doing what they love best, by making the entire nation laugh to no end. The Blue Collar Comedy Tour has been a wonderful experience for everyone who has had the pleasure of hearing their tall tales. These four may not be touring with each other currently, but the jokes they have told shall be remembered on video for generations to come.
Humor and enjoyment of what is funny varies from person to person. Articles about comedy can define it, but can’t make it happen for the majority of people.
