Poehler adds life to the role by her brightest, most near-demented smile. She’s surrounded by people who are jaded, hostile, and wacky. The Office’s Rashida Jones ends up guardedly joining forces with Leslie in attempting to turn an ugly dirt pit into a park.

The pilot episode gathered mixed reactions from the viewers. On one hand, Amys fan following rooted for her while on the other, the new chunk of watchers expressed not so satisfactory opinions. They found that the show was trying hard to tickle their laughing bones.
