I was surprised to learn that about one in every 3 folks write out the word German Shepherd wrong, spelling them German Shepards rather. I’m surprised that this breed of dog is so commonly mistyped, and I’m even more stunned to learn that I write it this way for so lots of of my life.

I dislike spelling words incorrect & I consistently try to avert it. I am consistently careful to make sure that I am precise with my spelling, however like any individual, sometimes I just slip up. The good news is that I have an easy way to recall how to spell this breed of dog correctly.

You don’t think of the German Shepards (I’m kidding) now as sheep herding dogs, as they are generally used by law enforcement to fight crime, in airports to sniff out substances, and in other situations that rely on the dog’s great sense of smell.

This, however, is why they happened to be bred, & remembering this ought to make it much easier to spell the word correctly.

As long as you try to keep this in mind any time you spell out the word, I believe you will get it correct from here. Do not feel too badly regarding it since one in three people do write it mistakenly.
