Got Funny

I host Christmas dinner every year at my home. This means that somewhere between 15 to 20 people show up at my house to eat good food and spend time with one another. I’m not complaining either, because I love my family. The problem is that as everyone has been getting older, they’ve started treating the even more and more formally. All I want is a relaxed, comfortable environment for us all to enjoy. Instead, I have people wearing sweaty suits and yelling at their kids for making too much noise. I’m going to have to fix this, and I think funny Christmas t-shirts are going to be the way to go.

The Christmas season is as close to the pain and torture of the Inquisition that you can get in this modern era. You may thing that I’m being overly dramatic, but when you are someone with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder who hosts Christmas for almost two dozen relatives, then things can get out of control. For a person with OCD, out of control is almost physically painful. I get headaches, stomach cramps, nausea, and worse from it. I was told in therapy that I should have something that I can control completely to ease the stress. That something for me this year will be funny Christmas t-shirts.
