The latest craze in fantasy stories, whether they be in books, film, or a TV show, tackles the theme of vampires. Of course, we’ve had horror classic stories back in the 1800s including Bram Stoker’s Dracula. We’ve also had Dracula films every couple of years. But this theme has actually gained popularity within the last decade, especially right after the Twilight series of Stephenie Meyer was released.

This new stage musical is based on the story and characters from the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film Shrek, the first chapter in the a lot loved series of irreverent fairy tales. Shrek The Musical is playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane from May 2011.
